A single rating summarising a website's risk from many underlying signals.
A trust score is a single, at-a-glance rating that summarises how risky or reputable a website appears, distilled from many underlying signals so you do not have to weigh each one yourself. CheckAScam produces one from factors such as a domain's age and registration details, its hosting, its technical fingerprints, and what independent sources say about it — the same checks a careful person would run by hand, gathered quickly.
A score is a fast second opinion, not an infallible verdict: a good number is no guarantee of honesty, and a poor one is a prompt to look harder rather than absolute proof of fraud. Automated checks can be gamed, and a brand-new legitimate business can look thin on signals through no fault of its own. Whatever the number, the habits that protect you — reading the address, choosing a reversible payment — still matter most.
